Photo taken at Victoria Peak, Hong Kong (2010). Hong Kong is a compelling, compact, tall, simultaneously flashy and grubby city (the dingy areas are great, too). The first time we saw this view it was in the evening when I took this shot, and it was stunning. We came back to see it during the day, too, and then came back again once I realized that all my day photos were taken with hideously bad settings on my camera.
